We kindly ask that parents and guests do not bring flowers, balloons, noise-makers, or large gift items into the ceremonies. While we know these are signs of love, they can unfortunately cause several issues:
Obstruction of Views: Balloons and large bouquets block the sightlines for other families trying to see their children on stage during these final, precious moments.
Distractions: The rustling of cellophane and movement of balloons can be distracting for the students and speakers during the formal program.
Safety & Space: Our ceremony spaces will be at capacity. Keeping aisles clear is a priority for everyone's safety and comfort.
Important Note: Students will not be able to take flowers, balloons, or gifts back to their classrooms after the ceremony. To avoid any disappointment, please save these wonderful surprises for a celebration at home!
Can't Make It in Person? Join Us Online!
We want every family member to be a part of this historic final celebration. To ensure no one misses out, all ceremonies will be live-streamed.
Links: Access links for the live streams will be sent out via email and school messenger prior to the event dates.
Global Celebration: These streams allow extended family—near and far—to cheer on our Sailors one last time in real-time!

If your student has been rezoned to Settlers Way Elementary for the 2026–2027 school year, we hope you’ll join one of these informal opportunities to connect with SWE leadership, ask questions, and start building relationships ahead of next school year. Everyone is welcome and no purchase necessary.
To help make this opportunity more accessible for APE families transitioning to Settlers Way, a second Teahouse Chat date and location has been added. We’re so glad families now have two chances to attend and get connected. Please help share with any APE families headed to SWE next year!
