AHS Middle School Band NIght - Hey Ya!

Call for Parent Volunteers

Please consider donating your time and talent by volunteering for one or more of our upcoming OHMS band events. We we will need lots of help from our 7th/8th Grade Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble parents during the month of September. Parents and caregivers can sign up using this OHMS Band Parent Sign-Up Genius Link for our September events. Please keep in mind that all Austin ISD volunteers are required to complete a quick background check at no cost through https://austinisd.voly.org/

Upcoming Events

Tues, September 30 - Homecoming Game at House Park

Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble members will perform in the stands at the O.Henry vs. Murchison 7th and 8th grade "A" team football games. Students are free to leave with a parent or guardian after halftime of the 8th grade game. (6 - 8:30 PM). If your child is on the A football team they will will be with football team for this game. Students have the option to stay after school, then travel by AISD school bus to the stadium. All students will need to be picked up by a parent/guardian at the stadium as we will NOT have a bus returning to O.Henry.

4 -5 PM Pizza and study hall in the OHMS Band Hall

5:15 PM Load Buses/Depart for House Park

6 - 8:30 PM Play pep music in the stands & cheer on our Mustang Football Team!

8:45 PM All students must be picked up from House Park

OHMS Beginning Band Performance - Thursday, Oct. 2

On Thursday, October 2nd all O.Henry Beginning Band members will perform with the Austin High Maroon Band at House Park. Our performance will take place during pre-game, sometime between 6:55 – 7:15 pm, depending on when the football teams finish their pre-game warm-up. Band members will be admitted free; however, the cost of admission for adults is $8 presale and $10 on game day. Tickets are available online at HomeTown Ticketing | School Events

Schedule for 10/2

4 -5 PM Pizza and study hall in the OHMS Band Hall

5:15 PM Load Buses/Depart for House Park

6:15 PM Line up by sections

6:55 - 7:15 PM Perform "House Park Blues" on the field with the Austin HS Band!

7:30 PM Kick of AHS vs. Dripping Springs Varsity football game.

8:00 PM (End of 1st Quarter) Band members are free to leave with their parents/guardians.

All students must be picked up from House Park
