Hello! I am excited to be your music teacher this year!

I grew up in a military family that moved often but I’m happy to now call Texas my home! I went to school in Florida for K-2 Music Education with piano as my primary instrument. I have been playing piano since I was four years old and have loved every second! My teaching journey began in San Antonio where I taught for three years before moving to Austin. 

I met my husband in Austin which began my passion of UT football after he graduated with his Masters from The University of Texas. Hook Em'! We just got married this summer and are excited to spend the rest of our lives together. Some leisure things we enjoy are going to football games, live concerts, and finding amazing/new restaurants in town. 

Outside of our primary jobs, we both coach CrossFit and participate in local competitions as well as Hyrox at least twice a year. I recently combined my love for CrossFit and kids by starting a CrossFit Kids Summer Camp at my current gym in Austin!

It is truly an honor to be your child's music teacher. I believe music has the power to inspire, connect, and bring out the best in each of us, and I'm extied to create a joyful and supportive space where students can grow, explore, and express themselves through music!
