Tech Help for Students and Families

Tech Help for students and families is available through our school campus and district. Help involving Chromebooks, WiFi hotspots, and AISD apps like BLEND & Zoom can be accessed by email and phone. In some cases, students and/or families may need to come to campus to receive tech help.

For Mendez Campus Tech Help, please see below:

For Phone Assistance:

  • Call the Front Office at 512-414-3284

  • Please describe the issue as best as you can.

  • You may be asked for your student's name & grade level.

For In-person Assistance:

  • Please bring the device that needs tech help. Please make sure to bring chargers and school issued cases with devices.

  • When you arrive on campus, please call the Front Office or ring the bell by the front doors to let us know you are here. Please describe the help you need.

  • Someone will come to help you as soon as possible.

For Email Assistance:

  • You can email the Mendez Library Media Specialist at melissa.stovall@austinisd.org.

  • Please describe your issue as best as you can and include the make of your Chromebook (HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Dell).



For AISD District Tech Help, please see below:

Families

  1. Families may call the Family Support line at 512-414-9187; support is available weekdays from 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

  2. Click HERE to submit a question or request help.

  3. Submit a parent support form. The form is received by our help desk and will be assigned to one of our specialists, who will contact you.

Students

  1. By phone: 512-414-4357

  2. Submit a student support form.

  3. Click HERE to submit a question or request help.


Note: Prior to submitting a help desk ticket, it is the student’s responsibility to back up any data, information or other files stored on the assigned device.
