Summer Reading

Are you new to Mendez? A current or returning student? Are you in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade? During the summer, your task is to READ! Mendez Mavericks broke school records with their reading numbers this year so let's keep it up and practice to make next year EVEN BETTER! Make sure to READ, READ, READ!

You can read physical books, eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, dictionaries, captions on TV, the back of a cereal box, and more. Feel free to start a new series, get into a new comic book, try out a new genre of books you've never read, or reread your favorite books that never get old. READ whatever you want! Just READ!
