Project Instructions
After you read your selected graphic novel, complete 1 of the project options listed below. Bring your project with you during the first week of school as this will count as a grade for the first 9 weeks!
Project Option #1
Write a letter to one of the characters in your book. Minimum 1 page written or typed.
Ideas:
Consider what you would say to this character if you had the chance.
What questions would you ask them?
How can you connect or relate to this character? Explain.
If you could give this character advice, what would you say?
Formatting Requirements (If you choose to type your work):
1-2 pages typed.
Readable font of your choice - 12 point.
1 inch margins
Double spaced
First and last name listed in top left corner of the document.
Include a title.
Proofread! Edit all grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
Add artwork or design details to the document if you like!
Project Option #2:
Write a different conclusion to the book. How would you change the ending? Create either a 1-page comic strip or 1-page written story-ending.
Ideas:
Change the resolution to a major conflict in the story. Do you think characters should have changed any of their actions/decisions?
Add details about what happens to certain characters after the story ends. What do you think happens next?

Project Option #3:
Create an alternative book cover for your novel. Make it unique and eye-catching.
Requirements:
Include the title and author of the book
Main characters
Colorful illustrations!
Add one quote from the novel that you think is most important to the story!
