What are the library's checkout policies?
Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade may check out one book at a time*.
Students in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade may check out up two books at a time*.
Parents may check out up to two books at a time.
Books are due two weeks after they are checked out, but they may be renewed at that time.
*Please note: It is up to the discretion of teachers whether library books come home or are kept in the classroom.
When will my child visit the library?
All classes visit the library every week for a lesson and to check out books.
To find out when your child's library time is, please talk to their teacher.
What if a book is lost or damaged?
Our preference is that lost or damaged books be replaced with another copy of the same book in hardback.
If you have any questions about lost/damaged books or fines, please talk to Mrs. Gibbs.
Can parents visit the library?
Absolutely! Parents are welcome! Please schedule a time to come visit by contacting Mrs. Gibbs.
Can parents volunteer in the library?
Yes! We love to have parent volunteers and would be happy to find times and tasks that work for you.
Can I suggest a book to be added to the library's collection?
Yes, please! Start by checking out our catalog to see if we have the book already. If not, you can fill out our Book Request Form.
Can I make a donation to the library?
