We may even how to prepare and paint surfaces correctly, and learn orienteering with compasses in a race! Lastly, adults really, really like to be silly, laugh, and play games (they do!!!). Monday: Pease Park
Heading out at 9:30 AM and back around 12:30 PM, kids can explore the playground and the splash pad (dress for water play + bring a change of clothes!), and a visit to the Crow's Nest (that cool treehouse observation pod) plus the famous Troll—Malin’s Fountain, an 18-foot-tall recycled-wood sculpture by artist Thomas Dambo. She's a friendly "water protector" troll holding a basin (kids can add water for the animals!). Imagine kids discovering that giant troll in the woods—such a magical surprise! We will have lunch at the park.
Tuesday: Austin Zoo
We will be gone from 10 AM to about 1:30 PM, walking the paths to check out animal habitats and behaviors, with a picnic lunch. The Austin Zoo is a rescue-focused zoo with over 300 animals across 100+ species—think zookeeper chats, feeding opportunities, and free-roaming peacocks. Great for hands-on learning and animal love!
Wednesday: Main Event
9:30 AM departure, back by 12:30 PM. Everyone gets a $10 arcade card, 1 hour of bowling, laser tag time, plus pizza and soft drinks for lunch. It's an all-in-one fun spot with multi-level laser tag arenas, pro-level bowling lanes, and tons of arcade games—high-energy and competitive in the best way!
Thursday: The Alamo
Moseying to the theater for AC, popcorn, and a cool movie from the recent past. Alamo Drafthouse is known for its cool vibe and comfy seats—perfect chill day after the active ones. Departure and arrival times TBD.
Friday: Mt. Playmore
9:30 AM to 1:00 PM. This is the largest indoor playscape in Texas—a massive 120x60 ft structure with climbing nets, slides, monkey bars, bridges, and more. Snack break with popcorn and a drink in their cafe, kids have the option to bring money for the arcade as well. Ideal for burning energy indoors. We will enjoy a late lunch when we return to Hill.
Down time at Hill with games, movies, gym free time, etc., keeps everything balanced. Dress for the weather/activity (water play on Monday, comfy/active wear otherwise), and pack those changes of clothes/snacks as needed.

A week of creativity with a purpose. At Art with a Heart Camp, students will listen to inspiring stories about kindness and giving back, create meaningful works of art, and learn how their talents can make a difference in the community.
On Friday, we will host a special gallery showcase where friends and family are invited to celebrate the artists. Proceeds from the event will be donated to a philanthropic organization chosen by the students, because even small hands can make a big impact.
