Please keep in mind AHS has different deadlines from ACC.
Students must follow AHS’s deadlines to ensure they have successfully enrolled in the course at AHS and ACC.

If you are a returning dual credit student or have taken classes with ACC before, please complete the course request link below. Once I submit your request to ACC you will be able to register (Application Steps and Checklist) in 2-3 business days after ACC processes.
Please complete the following steps:
1. QUALIFY - You must qualify to take dual credit based on a test score:
SAT, ACT or TSI (PSAT 10/11 and EOC scores no longer qualify per TEA)
Must be college ready in reading/writing to take English, History and Government
Must be college ready in Math to take College Algebra
To request a voucher to TSI test from home, click on the TSI Exam Request Form. There is a $29 fee to test remotely from home.

2. Apply - Complete steps 2-3 on ACC Application Steps and Checklist. Once you have completed steps 2-3 on ACC Application Steps and Checklist and have received your ACCeid please complete Course Request Form below.
3. REQUIRED: Submit - Course Request Form below.
*You must have an ACCeID before submitting the Course Request Form. Your request and test scores will be submitted to ACC for processing which can take 2-3 days. Paperwork MUST be processed before you can register.
4. Register (registration dates below) – On the Application Steps and Checklist follow "Plan, Register & Pay" (no pay) to register.
Important UT transcript information!
Austin Community College's English Department requires the course prerequisites of ACC ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 with a grade of C or higher in each to take Brit Lit. If you've participated in UT OnRamps this past year, then you'll need to send your official UT Austin transcript to ACC so that your earned grades and college credits for RHE 306 and RHE 309J can be transcripted and verified.

- Important! UT transcripts are not updated with Spring grades until mid-June. Please confirm with UT that Spring grades have been posted before sending transcript.
