Thank for your interest in the ACC Dual Credit program at AHS for
Summer 2026/Fall 2026
Austin Community College offers college classes to qualified high school students here on Austin High’s campus for juniors and seniors. Students may also take ACC Dual Credit classes directly through ACC. ACC Dual Credit classes are taught by college faculty using the same lessons and expectations other college students receive.
ACC Dual Credit Courses offered here at AHS:

*Seniors who want to register for British Literature through ACC to satisfy their English 4 requirement (Fall semester only) must have completed ACC English 1301 & 1302 or completed English 3 through OnRamps with a grade of C or (not pass/fail) and accept the college credit through UT.
Important UT transcript information!
Austin Community College's English Department requires the course prerequisites of ACC ENGL 1301 and ENGL 1302 with a grade of C or higher in each to take Brit Lit. If you've participated in UT OnRamps this past year, then you'll need to send your official UT Austin transcript to ACC so that your earned grades and college credits for RHE 306 and RHE 309J can be transcripted and verified.

officially submit your UT OnRamps transcript to ACC to ensure the credit gets added to your academic record.
- Important! UT transcripts are not updated with Spring grades until mid-June. Please confirm with UT that Spring grades have been posted before sending transcript.
