Why Should I Join Choir?
6th Grade Perks
Be in the same class as your friends! Classes are placed with similar voice parts in class (treble/female voices and Cambiata/male voices)
Learn how to read, sing, and perform various kinds of music at concerts
Social events each semester
Participate in the Elementary tour!
Attending the 6th Grade Honor Choir Festival!
Spring Choir Field Trip!
7th and 8th Grade Perks:
Singing with similar voice parts in class (treble/female voices and tenor bass/male voices)
Learn how to read, sing, and perform various kinds of music at concerts (Fall, Winter, Pre-UIL, and Spring Pop Show)
Social events each semester (Karaoke Party, Video Game Night - Tenor Bass, Pajama/Movie Night - Treble)
No homework assigned (unless auditioning for Region Choir)
Singing in multiple voice parts (Tenor/Bass and Soprano/Alto)
Various events throughout the year and singing in the community (elementary tour, perform at nursing homes, performing the National Anthem at sporting events)
High school collaborative events
