Dear Burnet Families,

We have just two more weeks until our Winter Break, which will take place from December 22–January 5, with students returning on Tuesday, January 6. These next two weeks will be full of exciting Burnet experiences, and we look forward to finishing the semester strong.

Holiday Fair Appreciation

Thank you to all the Burnet community members who joined us for our Holiday Fair! It was wonderful to see our families, students, and staff come together in celebration.

for organizing the event and ensuring it was a joyful experience for everyone.

We also want to recognize our amazing volunteers; the Burnet Mariachi Band, led by Mr. Duarte and Mr. Cutchen, for sharing their beautiful music; and our very own Santa Claus (Mrs. Gonzales!) for spreading holiday cheer. Thank you to everyone who helped set up and clean up, you truly made this event memorable for our community.

We are getting into the holiday spirit! Please join us by participating in our 10 Days Until Winter Break celebration. A full schedule of spirit days will be shared with students and posted on our website and social media.

Safety & Expectations Reminders

To ensure all students feel safe and stay focused on learning, please help us reinforce the following expectations:

• Students must wear their school ID badges daily.
  Our administration and front office checks badges for every individual entering the building to maintain safety.

• Please speak with your child about responsible use of social media.
  We have recently seen concerning behavior related to inappropriate and hurtful content on platforms such as Instagram and TikTok.

• If you become aware of any threatening, harmful, or unsafe online activity, please report it immediately:
