Digital ResourcesÂ
& eBooks
All students and staff in AISD currently have access to a robust, curated collection of DIGITAL RESOURCES appropriate for their level (elementary, middle, or high school) including:
Numerous online databases provided through the state-wide TexQuest program and other services to which we subscribe; these include resources at all levels on all subjects. They are regularly updated to maintain currency.
Thousands of eBooks (digital books) including fiction, non-fiction, picture books (elementary), biographies, graphic novels, digital audio books, and more.
Professional journals and other professional resources for educators.
ACCESS to these resources is available online 24 hours a day, including weekends, holidays and school breaks. The easiest way to access all of these resources is through our digital resource hub, MackinVIA, which can be accessed through the AISD Portal. Once you are in MackinVIA, you can access all of the digital resources without needing additional logins or passwords.
Log into the AISD student or staff Portal.
Click the MackinVIA tile. (Look for the rainbow pinwheel and/or type "mack" in the search bar.)
Use the search bar in your campus MackinVIA account to access thousands of eBooks, and/or:
For more eBooks, from the VIA Home Page click on the resources in the "Featured Group: More eBooks" carousel, or click "Groups" on the left menu bar and select "More eBooks" from the alphabetical list.
