Online Homework:

Homework will be completed using MyMathLab. You can gain access to MyMathLab through blackboard.

I expect you to follow the pace of the weekly schedule of the homework

For each section, you want to follow the weekly guidance that I will provide. It is within these guides, I will give you instructions on viewing the videos, reading the text, and working out problems. Take notes as you would in a typical lecture so you can refer to them as needed as you work through your homework problems.

Once you have gone through the unit, you can get started on your online homework. To do your online homework access MyMathLab through the MyMathLab link available through Blackboard.

Select the online homework button to the left to access your online homework assignments. What is great about MyMathLab is that students are able to do quite a lot of homework relatively easily because of the many great features available. Help Me Solve This, View an Example, Textbook, and Video features are great in assisting you to do your homework, but remember when you do your handwritten paper exams you will not have those resources available to you. So please when working out these problems try not to get too dependent on these features, but use them as needed in order to understand how to do the problem.

While you are working on your online homework, you should be writing out each step. I will need to see the problems worked out on your exams and in your handwritten homework submissions. In addition, it's extremely important to communicate your work and be able to verbally communicate your answers.
