I chose this topic because so many Latinxs immigrate to the U.S. for a better life but one of the foundations of a good quality of life is having access to good and nutritional food but so many Latinx communities have limited or no access to those foods. I’d like for students to learn from this lesson cycle about food deserts and how it affects the people in these food deserts and hopefully pick up better eating habits as well. -- S. Ruiz
