ArcGIS Pro and Online
Every student enrolled in ACC GIS receives a complimentary one year license of ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
ArcGIS Pro Student Trial Software Instructions
Before you install ArcGIS Pro
Locate the ArcGIS.com organizational login credentials provided by your instructor. Your username is usually your ACC e-mail address (i.e., jane.doe@g.austincc.edu). ArcGIS Pro uses a "named user license" that is associated with your ACC AGOL login credentials.
Review the ArcGIS Pro system requirements to ensure your computer is ready to install the software.
Download and install ArcGIS Pro
ACC is currently using ArcGIS Pro 3.2. Please ask your instructor for a link to instructions on how to download the correct version of the software.
Authorize
Open the newly installed ArcGIS Pro and authorize using the ArcGIS.com organizational login credentials provided by your instructor.
Do not update your software once installed to ensure the version installed at home is the same as the version installed on campus. To disable update notices, in ArcGIS Pro click Project>About and confirm the option to "Check for updates on startup" is NOT enabled.
