About Dr. Gulya: Dr. Jason Gulya is a Professor of English and Chair of the Artificial Intelligence Council at Berkeley College, where he teaches both onsite and online courses in writing and the Humanities. His work centers on Generative Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the future of writing. Jason has trained hundreds of faculty members, administrators, and students on integrating AI tools into their courses and workflows.
Known for his practical, balanced approach, Jason offers both advocacy and skepticism, providing an insightful, on-the-ground teacher perspective. He was recently featured by Business Insider for his innovative ChatGPT prompting techniques, and in 2020, he was named Berkeley's Faculty of the Year.
