Cultural Mosaics were launched by the Teaching & Learning Excellence Division (TLED) to provide a common source of communication around cultural celebrations, promote the work of departments across the college that develop cultural events and programming, support the alignment of culture and curriculum, and help students, faculty, and staff celebrate the rich diversity within the Austin Community College (ACC) community. Cultural Mosaic "Tiles" were launched to provide space for 'collective' celebrations in a single month. 

Cultural Mosaics have aimed to foster a sense of connection and belonging around national celebrations, and now we present our next installment of Cultural Mosaic Tiles that feature both month-long and date-specific celebrations. The April Cultural Mosaic Tiles will honor Arab American Heritage Month, Autism Acceptance Month, and Earth Week. Each tile serves as a focal point for reflection and appreciation. The Cultural Mosaics and Tiles not only enhance awareness of myriad traditions but also create a welcoming environment in which everyone’s voices and experiences are valued.
