THE ARAB AMERICAN FIGHT FOR IDENTITY AND BELONGING
As part of the Inclusion Talk Series for Arab American Heritage Month, this event—Never Enough: The Arab American Fight for Identity and Belonging—features Dr. Ed Hasan, a Palestinian-American Muslim, author, speaker, and professor. The talk explores the experiences of Arab Americans navigating identity, cultural expectations, and the struggle to belong in a society that often marginalizes their voices. Through stories of generational Sumud (steadfastness), Dr. Hasan highlights the resilience and ongoing efforts toward recognition and inclusion.

Support the Texas autism community at the 17th Annual Texas Autism Walk. This family-friendly event features a resource fair, music, and fun activities for all ages. BEING KIND TO THE EARTH:
AN EARTH DAY COMMUNITY CELEBRATION
Families are invited to a free, hands-on Earth Day workshop, Being Kind to the Earth, at Lake Travis Community Library. Led by Reach for the Stars ATX, this interactive event empowers young leaders to care for the planet while exploring the importance of water conservation. Enjoy a kid-friendly presentation by Lakeway MUD, activities from the Central Texas Water Coalition, and creative stations like building rain gauges, designing reusable totes, and exploring the water cycle. Plus, Bricks & Minifigs Bee Cave will host a play table focused on the 3 Rs—Rebuild, Reuse, and Reimagine®. RSVPs are encouraged for raffle entry and planning.
