Write one paragraph, 5-6 sentences, in answer to one or both of the questions below. The French Revolution was very violent in terms of lives lost and property damaged. Some people make a distinction between the violence of oppressed people (like the March on Versailles) and the violence of the state (like the King or Robespierre executing people on behalf of the government).
