Library lending policies
Students and staff are encouraged to browse and borrow books.
Books can be renewed after four weeks by emailing Ms. Megan - or by coming to the library.
If a book is overdue beyond two months (has not been renewed) or returned damaged completely beyond repair, it's considered lost.
Don't fret! Any of the following can clear a lost book fine:
Find and return the book (our personal favorite).
Bring cash to the library for the replacement cost. Check online first, as book prices tend to change.
You can purchase a replacement copy, even a used copy, as long as it is in vg+ (very good plus) or in like-new condition. Our only stipulation is that the repurchased title must be in hardcover if replacing a lost hardcover book.
Help in the library! Check in with Ms. Megan as she might have a cool project such as creating art or making a snail terrarium (real examples) for the library. Additionally, you could present your own idea to enhance the library! Most often, a personal contribution by your design or idea is infinitely more valuable than the cost of a book.
