Citation Basics:
In the body of a paper, the in-text citation acknowledges the source of information used.
At the end of a paper, the citations are compiled on a References or Works Cited list. A basic citation includes the author, title, and publication information of the source.Â
MLA Works Cited Page
According to MLA style, you must have a Works Cited page at the end of your research paper. All entries in the Works Cited page must correspond to the works cited in your main text. Ms. Scheuer takes you through these steps in this slideshow and video. These guidelines may be helpful.
APA Reference List
