Hi, my name is Ms. Julie Medina. As a Gateway to Success counselor at Brightwood, my goal is to support our students' mental health and academic growth. I help students set achievable goals, and develop their social-emotional skills while promoting positive decision-making. Through the Gateway to Success program, I aim to equip Brightwood students with the skills they need to succeed.

As a first-generation college graduate and Latina, I am passionate about promoting college access. I want to inspire you to think about your future, including the exciting possibilities of higher education.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from CSUN and my Master's in Educational and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University.
