Homework

Read 20 minutes each night

Finish any classwork and work on long term assignments

Math: One page per night to practice what we learned that day and practice multiplication tables. Math homework is returned the next day.

Spelling: packet due on Friday/test Friday

District Policy ~ Homework is given four times a week. The amount of time spent on assignments may vary depending on the child and the assignment. The average is 30 minutes to an hour per night, plus 20 minutes of reading.

Agendas ~ Please check and sign homework agenda daily. Students are expected to copy their homework assignments daily.

Home Reading ~ 20 minutes each day 

Forgotten or incomplete homework ~ If homework is not brought back to school the day it is due, student will make up the work at some point during the class day. If this becomes a habit, parents will be notified and a plan will be put in place to help the student with homework completion.  Responsibility is enforced in the classroom. Please remember that returning homework to school is the child’s responsibility.

Graded Work ~ Some assignments will be graded online. Other graded tests and assignments will be sent home on Wednesdays in their family folder.
