Q: What is Passion Project?

A:  It is YOUR time to find your passion, develop your interest, learn a new skill or improve on an existing skill.  You can even learn about a future career!

Q: What topic/subject can I choose?

A:  Anything!  The sky is truly the limit here.  Think about what you would do if you have free time and how this time can be spent in a productive way that can advance yourself.

Q:  How do I get started?

A:  1) Have your project idea approved by Ms Mai.  

      2) Gather information for your topic.  The information that you gather throughout the project needs to be researched using websites, videos, interviews with experts, articles, or books.  

      3) You must share what you've learned or accomplished with an audience (your peers)

Q:  Why are we doing a Passion Project in science?

A:  This is a way for you to take ownership of your learning while perfecting important skills like researching, evaluating reliable sources, presenting, collecting and analyzing data, managing long term project, and many more.
