Boys Volleyball is a competitive CIF Spring sport. Levels include Frosh, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. The varsity program is in CIF Division 2 and regular participant in post-season playoffs

Orchesis Dance Company

The Arcadia High School Orchesis Dance Company has been entertaining the city of Arcadia for over 40 years, pushing the boundaries of high school dance to a more professional and elite level. Orchesis is a unique and specialized program which most high schools do not provide to their students. We pride ourselves on artistic growth, development of leadership skills, and creating productions of the highest quality.

The program allows students to explore and develop their potential as dancers, artists and students. It is our mission as a Dance Department to continue the growth of the Orchesis Dance Company and to provide our students with the highest level of dance training. Above all, we would like to provide a space for students to be free, to feel valued, and to be able to grow as individuals.

Dance Department

Where students become performers, leaders, and innovators!!

The vision of the program is to develop the technical skill and artistic mind of the dancer. Different from training in private studios, we focus on the art of dance with curriculum guided by state standards that emphasize the following components: Artistic Perception, Creative Expression, Historical and Cultural Context and Aesthetic Valuing. The ultimate goal of all dance courses is not only to help develop dancers' arts education but also focus on how the study of dance adds to their life as a student, life long learner, member of society, in a job and as a human being.
