Grace is a first generation Mexican American, who was born and raised in Denver. Grace completed her undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Grace has worked with students for the past four years through a mentoring program called Los Caminos, as well as through Denver Scholarship Foundation, focusing on diverse communities and post secondary planning.
Abdullah Carter is an Academic Professional with over 10 years of experience within Higher Education/Secondary. His primary passion is helping youth achieve their highest achievements, academically, professionally, and personally. Entering his 3rd year in his current role, he serves as an Graduate Success Coach for APS, overseeing the success of high/middle school students, positioned at Vista PEAK Preparatory.Abudllah did his graduate studies at Oklahoma State University (OSU) where he received a full ride Athletic Scholarship to Play football alongside his older brother Chris Carter at OSU. He comes from a long line of athletes, most notably Hall of Fame baseball player, Joe Carter, of the Toronto Blue Jays. He enjoys being active in the community with youth, exercising, biblical studies and theology.
