This class relies heavily on your daily participation and preparation. Students will receive a weekly work habits grade that reflects their in class participation and behavior. Students need to be actively engaged in what the choir is doing and you come to class prepared with your music, folder and a pencil every day. Using class time ineffectively and being unprepared will result in a loss of points. In the choir room, there is no food, gum or drinks allowed (except water bottles).
Students’ behavior will be monitored and recorded on a daily basis. If a student is not follow class expectations there will be consequences including detentions, parent phone calls and referrals depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior. At the end of each week, I will send home a report of your students assignments, attendance and behavior to the e-mail address you provided above.
