I was born in San Jose, CA. Then moved to CO when I was 2 years old. I graduated from Broomfield High School in 2005. I continued my Studies at CSU (Go Rams) and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Mathematics. After teaching 8th grade math and an integrated high school level class in Bennett, CO for three years, I transferred to Fox Ridge Middle school. While teaching 7th grade, I completed my masters degree through the University of Phoenix in curriculum and instruction. After moving to Columbia Middle School and back to teaching 8th grade math, I have more than a dozen years of teaching under my belt and know the ins and outs of almost all secondary level mathematics standards. I am excited to continue to work with colleagues, staff, students, parents, and the community to make this year a successful one!
