"Through the Executive Internship Program, our daughter interned at UCHealth during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. She was able to experience every aspect of hospital work. At the end of the semester, she was hired and trained as a CNA, and she worked for the hospital for two years before becoming an EMT. She is planning to begin paramedic school as soon as she turns 21. She credits the Executive Internship Program with leading her to her career in fast-paced medical service.
Our son thought he might be interested in business. Then he ruptured his ACL and tore his meniscus and became interested in orthopedics. He is currently in the Executive Internship Program - interning with physical therapists. He looks forward to each day at the clinic, helping clients strengthen their bodies, and learning more as he applies his new knowledge for his own recovery. At the same time, he is learning how to interact professionally in the workplace and building connections in his chosen field.
We are grateful for the opportunities the Executive Internship Program has given to our (nearly-grown) children."
