Weighted cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

For a medical internship, intern must get or have current TB test, flu shot, Covid-19 shot(s), have immunization record, and have a valid driver’s license, passport or Colorado State ID. (Process can take up to two weeks.) Your internship site may provide the TB test and flu shot free of charge, but in some cases,you may need to see your doctor or find a clinic for these.
Participation in the Executive Internship Program requires that students follow attendance regulations and student code of conduct, perform satisfactorily at the internship site and complete all required assignments. Student interns are expected to meet all conditions of employment for the internship site. Some internship placements, in compliance with federal law, may require verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

If you are accepted into the Executive Internship Program, you will be responsible for following directions and meeting deadlines independently. Receipt of your application and personal references – complete, accurate, and on time – is a reflection of your seriousness and attention to detail. Successful completion of this task is a prerequisite for further consideration of your application.
November - Recruiting and information meetings at all high schools begin. Qualified students are invited via their school email to attend an informational meeting. Students are not required to attend the information meeting to apply. All links for the application and recommendations are included in the email communication.
November through January - Students may apply until the January deadline (usually the end of January)
February - All applicants are interviewed by an EIP Coordinator.
