Unit Based Recovery (UBR) allows students to retake failed assignments while simultaneously keeping up with their ongoing coursework. It is designed to help students avoid course failure, all UBR work is completed via the Edgenuity platform. Once finished, the revised grade is updated in the teacher gradebook. 

It is for students who did not show a mastery of one or more learning standards in a course. Students can recover their overall grade by completing a customized UBR unit to show mastery of the missed standards.
