Concurrent Enrollment

What is Concurrent Enrollment? 

You can take college level classes while in high school. This means you would get both high school credit and college credit for the class you are taking. These classes take place at Central or you can take them at CCA. 

What Concurrent Enrollment Classes can you Take? 

• College English 

• Creative Writing 

• Introduction to Literature 

• College Algebra 

• College Statistics 

• Math for the Liberal Arts 

• US History (before reconstruction & after civil war) 

• Introduction to Sociology 

• Music Appreciation 

• Music Theory 

How do I Qualify for CE? 

• Self-Assessment (or teacher recommendation)

• SAT & PSAT scores 

• Grade in English 11 and Core 3, along with GPA.
