Students are encouraged to avoid wearing their favorite or nicest clothing on Art days. We will use messy materials throughout the year.Â
Smocks are available to borrow in the Art Room.
As an art teacher, I aim to expose my students to as many DIFFERENT art forms, art materials, and artists from around the world as possible. I am also passionate about teaching children to make art their own way! In art class all students will:
learn about themselves & others
experiment/explore ideas & materials
take ownership of the Art Room and Art materials
develop their own artistic style
strengthen fine motor skills
enhance creative & critical thinking skills
