My concept board consisted of a moody, deep colour palette that would elevate the space and give it some character whilst incorporating nature into the design. 

This was my first project at university where we created our general arrangement, elevations and visuals by hand drawing to scale in order to develop these skills early on. I think that my design allows the space to flow better and allows more seating to accommodate the number of students and staff at the university. 

My elevations as shown, show the two longest walls, both with banquette seating and one side with coved, booth seating. 

Here I have shown what one side of the space would look like. You can see the two rows of banquette seating which is accessible for wheelchair users as well as the high stool tables for students to work at as well as to gather in groups
