Don Faust: A Man to Remember

To learn more about Augustana's theatre history and LGBTQ+ representation, we interviewed Augie alum, Don Faust. The graduate of '85 told us about his lived experiences at Augie, his theatre involvement, and his coming out story. Throughout this process, he was open and honest about the beautifully complicated life he has lived thus far. We left the interview with everything we asked for and more, and we are forever grateful and honored to have spoken with Don. To further his story, we centered our archival research around the years Don spent at Augustana to examine the discourse surrounding theatre and LGBTQ+ representation in the college's news paper: The Observer.
