What is the ACPS Summer Band Camp?
Augusta County Public Schools is proud to offer a Summer Band camp for ACPS band students. You will spend the week learning from some of our amazing band teachers, and rehearsing and performing with other band students.
This camp is TOTALLY FREE!!! All rehearsals will take place at Wilson Middle School, and a culminating concert demonstrating all the amazing work of your students will take place.
There will be great music, games, and a social atmosphere you will not want to miss!
Who is this camp for?
This camp is available to any ACPS student who will be enrolled in grades 7-9 in the fall. They should have completed at least one band class at their home school.
We will have students with 3 years of experience, and students who have only been playing for a couple of months! Our expert teachers will choose fun and challenging music that will allow every student to be successful.
