Registered Apprenticeships

The Virginia Registered Apprenticeship program is an employment training model that produces highly skilled workers to meet the demands of employers competing in a global economy, through a combination of on-the-job training and related technical instruction. It is a “win-win” approach to workforce development for apprentices (employees) throughout the Commonwealth. Many great opportunities available for graduated seniors. Developing Life Skills

Learning new skills or strengthening those skills we already have has been critical during these times of change. As students and families attempt to manage school work in at least a partially virtual setting, life skills are needed at a new level. The following videos have been created by our Career Coach to support students and families as they draw upon those skills and work to strengthen them.

The bonus: Not only will development of these life skills support students during these academic opportunities, but they are vital components of future job seekers!
