Formative Assessments:
There are several strategies for formative assessment which you can use with your students to check for understanding, assess learning, and identify areas where they need more support or scaffolding. These assessments are also a good way to assess participation and you can attach a small grade to some of them. Note that technologies such as Google Forms, Nearpod and Mentimeter could facilitate your use of formative assessments online.
