Hello,

My name is Kimberly Wynn and this is my 18th year teaching. I have taught 1st grade since Lakeland Hills first opened and taught Kindergarten prior. I am from Puyallup where I played sports, danced ballet and graduated from Cascade Christian High School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Western Washington University, Masters from City U and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2011.

My husband Mike and I have been married for 11 years and have 2 adorable kids, Isabel and Antonio. Isabel is in 3rd grade and Antonio is in 1st grade. I am so lucky to have both kids go the Lakeland Hills with me. We love to play games, have dance parties, and travel, especially to Disneyland. We are big Disney fans and can't wait to get back there again soon. I am also a photographer so we will have lots of fun pictures documenting our fabulous school year.

Teaching is my passion. I especially love teaching reading and watching students reach that "ah ha" moment they can read the world around them. I love to teach with lots of music, dancing and art. My goal is to make a positive and impacting difference in the lives of my students by focusing on mindfulness and kindness to others.

This is my 8th year in a job share where I teach part time. This is Mrs. Whipple and I's 2nd year job sharing and we are so excited to be able to work together. We are so happy to partner with you and your family in creating a positive and fun 1st grade experience for our students.
