Details for Classified Staff:

• Instructional para educators will have the option of receiving up to 7 hours toward fulfilling FCS credits requirements. 

• Sessions may be taken during the work day, if approved by your supervisor. *Sessions taken after the work day will be compensated via a timesheet by submitting proof of completion (FCS Form) to your office manager.

• Non-instructional para educators can use their in-service hours if classes are taken outside of the work day.

• All sessions will remain active and available through the series window.

• For the 21-22 school year all staff are required to complete 7 hours of equity training.  Qualified sessions, that are a part of the training series, are noted on the website with an *. For those staff who have not participated in the Deep Equity Cohort trainings, Youth Equity Stewardship trainings, or Glen Singleton's Courageous Conversations; please plan to attend an Equity session offering labeled as "pre-requisite" before choosing other equity session offerings. 

After completing the training, click here to complete the sign-in form to log attendance.  Once the attendance log is complete you will be prompted to follow a link to the Evaluation form.  From the Evaluation form you will be prompted to follow a link to your in-service/clock hour form.  The in-service/clock hour form is your record of course completion and needs to be printed.  

For FCS or Paraeducator Certificate hours:

Maintain documentation until you are ready to submit proof of completion for ALL FCS (28 hrs) or Paraeducator Certificate (70 hrs) hours. Do not submit individual documentation. A copy should be retained for your records. 

*Compensation available out of Paraeducator program funds ONLY if you have not fulfilled the FCS unit requirement or are not repeating coursework for General Certificate hours.
