Biography
Though born in Edmonds, I've lived in Auburn since I was 6, graduating from Auburn Riverside High School in 2001. I attended CWU to get my history degree and teaching certificate, before getting hired by the Auburn School District to teach beginning the fall of 2005; Auburn has been stuck with me ever since. I earned my Masters in Education in 2009, also from CWU. I have been happily married to my husband Jacob since 2007; we have three incredible children named Ella (12), Layla (10), and Rhys (8). We have a minature-Falcor the Luck Dragon named Belle (we call her breed a maltipoohuahua), and a fat dumb beagle named Martin, who is the sweetest chumbo in the world. We are a family of music with way too many guitars and pianos, who love to play music at our church and generally anywhere else that won't kick us out.
