At the Auburn School District Pool, we offer group swimming lessons to all individuals 5 year old and older, younger students can take our private lessons. With class levels from Preschool to Beginner to Advanced and Intermediate to Adult, there's something for everyone!
Structure
Our group swimming classes are intentionally designed to optimize each student's learning potential. We offer group swim lessons on a session basis. A typical swimming lesson session includes eight classes, costing $80.00 in total per student. Evening swimming lessons meet twice a week (on Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday/Thursday evenings) and last four weeks, while morning swimming lessons meet four times a week (Monday - Thursday), lasting two weeks. Each class is 30 minutes long.
We offer private lessons throughout the year. Please ask the front desk or your childs swim instructor for avalability.

What to Expect at Your First Class
On the first day of classes, students may enter the building using the front entrance, change into their swim clothes in the appropriate locker room*, then sit in the bleachers on the pool deck until their instructor calls their name and checks in with them for class. At the conclusion of class, we respectfully ask that students exit the water in a safe and timely manner.
Locker, Bath, and Changing Rooms
At the Auburn School District Pool, guests are expected to use the locker room that (most closely) matches their gender identity. Individuals younger than 6 years old may use a locker room different from their gender when accompanied by a chaperone (parent, guardian, sibling, etc.). For our non-binary and genderqueer friends, as well as families, we have a Family Changing room located on the pool deck. Equipped with a toilet, shower, changing table, and sink, it is a gender-neutral restroom and changing room available to any guest who wishes to use it.
