Have you always dreamed of a career involving children? Do you want to make a difference in a child’s educational experience? Gain valuable skills working with school-age children at an elementary school while you develop a professional portfolio documenting your knowledge and experience. Instruction includes child development, learning styles, and the special-needs of children. Successful completion qualifies you to take Teaching Academy where you can apply your skills at an elementary/secondary field site. Family Career and Community Leaders of America and/or 21st Century Skills are the integrated leadership opportunities to teach you skills for life. Fashion Apparel & Design (CTE 225)
