-Offer DVR led job clubs
-Offer DVR intake appointments in building
-Offer personal finance for all seniors
Important Documents- Student should have access to and know information such as home address, doctor's name/phone number, current medications, any medical diagnosis, dentist name/number, other health care providers, names/doses of medication, etc.
FAFSA- Should be completed in October for maximum benefits
Guardianship/Power of Attorney- Explore guardianship or power of attorney if necessary. This should be done prior to the student turning 18
Explore independent living options- Will the student live at home or independently? What does that look like and what supports will be necessary?
Sign up for DVR- If student needs help and support getting a job or managing themselves, you can sign up for support with Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
