With more than 60 distinct scholarship programs, the SME Education Foundation provides scholarships to students pursuing degrees in technical fields that directly support manufacturing.
The SME Education Foundation offers merit and need based scholarships, issues renewing and one-time awards, and seeks applications from all eligible students, including but not limited to young women and underrepresented communities. The Foundation has awarded 18 million to over 5,000 future industry leaders since 2005.
The Western Washington Sheet Metal Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (JATC) is a non-profit union training center serving all Western Washington. With campuses in Everett and DuPont, they offer training for the Sheet Metal Industry. Their areas of instruction include Sheet Metal, Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing, HVAC Service and Residential Sheet Metal.
