Special Education Teachers
Auburn's special education teaching staff is comprised of certified teachers who work within both the inclusive and separate special education setting. These teachers work closely with classroom teachers and paraprofessionals to ensure that instruction and support is tailored to meet the needs of all learners based on their Individualized Education Plans.
Erin Harackiewicz
My name is Erin Harackiewicz and I am the K-2 Intensive Special Needs Classroom teacher at Bryn Mawr Elementary School. This is my first year in the Auburn Public Schools and I am so thrilled to be part of the Bryn Mawr community. The staff, students and families are all wonderful to work with. Prior to working in Auburn, I was a special education teacher of a substantially separate classroom for seven years and an inclusion teacher for four years. I received my undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and received my Masters degree in Special Education from Framingham State.
I love witnessing the progress students make throughout the school year. I am passionate about promoting communication skills, daily living skills, and social interactions for my students.
