Classroom Expectations

*Follow Outdoor Education rules and procedures.

*Follow Aubrey Middle School Code of Conduct.

*Have fun and learn about the Outdoors.

*Wear appropriate clothing for going outdoors in any weather.

Equipment

Students are responsible for the equipment they use in class. Equipment will be inspected by students and any damage will be reported immediately. Students are expected to pay for the repair or replacement of equipment damaged while in their care/use if the damage was intentional or was the result of misuse.

Safety

Student safety is the top priority at all times and my primary concern. Activities both on and off campus will be closely supervised and a strict set of rules and expectations will be enforced at all times. Horseplay cannot and will not be tolerated due to the nature of the activities. Minor disruptions are usually handled in class, but I will contact parents immediately regarding safety issues. Thank you in advance for working with me to help provide a safe environment for all students.

***At NO time will firearms or live ammunition be allowed at school!***

Consequences

* Minor or Isolated violation: verbal reminder and/or removal from activity

* Persistent or Major violation:

1. Parent phone call and written warning:
2. Parent phone call and teacher detention
3. Referral to Administration/Possible Removal from class.
