How did E.A.R. Day start?

In 2014, Lisa Bell, AuD, '16, spent months creating a budget to submit a grant proposal to the National Student Academy of Audiology (AAA) HEAR Chapter Grant (hence the name E.A.R. Day). Upon approval, Lisa was able to organize our first ever E.A.R. Day (was H.E.A.R. Day at the time) on Feb. 21, 2015 for children who are Deaf and/or Hard-of-Hearing. We had approximately 30 children attend the event and rotate through different activities and learning stations, while the parents had a speaker session.

Each year we strive to make this day special for everyone!

We look forward to meeting our new participants and seeing our friends who have participated in previous years.
