ATMNE Constitution and Bylaws

The PURPOSE of ATMNE is to coordinate efforts of the Affiliates in order to facilitate increased interest in mathematics, to secure improvements in the teaching and learning of mathematics, to establish close relations among teachers and users of mathematics, and to link organizations of mathematics teachers in New England into one cohesive association.

Our vision is to empower educators to create inclusive, accessible, and high-quality mathematics learning experiences where all students regardless of background, identity, or individual needs have equitable opportunities to succeed, engage fully, and see themselves as capable and valued mathematicians. Through ongoing professional growth, culturally responsive teaching, and intentional efforts to remove barriers to learning, we are committed to fostering meaningful mathematics education for every learner.

The BOARD of DIRECTORS consists of the President of each Affiliate of ATMNE, the ATMNE Representative of each Affiliate, the Officers of ATMNE and three appointees.
